WWE Veteran Star Anticipates Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania Opponent

2 min read

As the title unification match at WrestleMania this year, Vince Russo plans to have the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Universal Champion Roman Reigns fight against each other. Since Roman Reigns was tested positive for COVID-19, he had to opt-out from his title match. However, his opponent, Brock Lesnar, went to play the WWE Championship game instead and surprisingly won the title from Big E. Vince Russo had a chit-chat with Dr. Chris Featherstone this week in the Wrestling’s Legion of RAW. They had a review session on this year’s first Monday Night RAW episode and had a discussion about the future plans of Brock Lesnar.

Russo proposed a title unification match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and anticipated that they would claim the WWE and Universal Championships. Former WWE writer has mentioned earlier that the match between Reigns and Lesnar would draw a lot of money at the Grandest Stage of All.

“If they were smart, it would be Reigns vs. Lesnar – winner takes all. That would be the smart thing to do. I can’t imagine, bro, that they are going to do anything short of that,” Russo said.

Russo also confirmed that the title unification might mean that WWE will be happening with the Universal Championship – a title that Roman Reigns possessed for nearly 490 days and counting.

Brock Lesnar to be Featured in this Week’s SmackDown

It was a surprise to everyone when the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar was reunified with his advocate Paul Heyman during the Monday night RAW. Just to poke fun at Roman Reigns, the beast incarnate made sure that his audience acknowledged that he was the real champion of WWE.

Later that night, in the fatal four-way match, Bobby Lashley had defeated Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Big W and won the contenders. This victory has set a one-on-one clash that will happen between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley for the Royal Rumble.

After a month’s time, Kevin Patrick, the WWE correspondent, had asked Brock Lesnar to comment on it. Totally ignoring the winning moment of Lashley, the beast challenged the Universal Champion Roman Reigns on SmackDown this Friday. Things are quite interesting in the title scene of WWE.
