5. Drew McIntyre Might be Back in WWE WrestleMania 38
Drew McIntyre has a serious neck problem and is currently out of form, due to which he might miss this year’s Royal Rumble too. However, he might recover soon and is expected to play WrestleMania 38 that is planned for April 2022.
As per the news from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has reported that McIntyre has been doing rehab. He explained that the Scottish wrestler is trying the ‘John Cena Approach’ to return in time for the WrestleMania.
”Regarding McIntyre, he’s been doing rehab and decompression therapy on his neck. He’s taking the John Cena approach of double sessions six days a week and is pretty insistent he’ll make it back for WrestleMania,” said Meltzer.
Drew McIntyre has been one of the consistent WWE stars for the last couple of years. Earlier, he had plans of facing Roman Reigns during the Royal Rumble but things didn’t happen that way due to his injury. Fans are waiting for McIntyre’s re-entry and his plans at WrestleMania.
