3. Rahul Tripathi
A secured place was earned by KKR’s batter, Rahul Tripathi during this IPL season when he smashed an excellent six in Ravichandran Ashwin’s over during the second qualifier match against the Delhi Capitals.
Apart from his famous six, he played his most memorable IPL season this year smacking 397 runs in 17 fixtures at an outstanding strike rate of 140.28.
The KKR franchise let his hands-free to express himself and the 30-year old never disappointed his team. However, when it comes to retention, Tripathi might not have a chance to stay with KKR.
Kolkata is likely to retain Venkatesh Iyer who turned this season upside down with his terrific performance along with Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine. Shubman Gill and Andre Russell are next in line to take the remaining two spots.
