Although Randy Orton’s participation in this year’s Royal Rumble has yet to be announced, he recently made a prediction about it.

In an interview with FOX2 Now, the former RAW Tag Team Champion stated that he had a good chance of competing in the Men’s Rumble. (Photo courtesy of Wrestling Inc.)

“I will probably end up being in the Royal Rumble itself. That’s not official yet,” said Orton.

The Royal Rumble in 2022 will be held in St. Louis, Missouri. The Viper has declared that he would give it everything he has to win the Rumble in his hometown.

Orton is also well aware that if he wins the multi-man tournament this year, he would join ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as the only WWE superstar to win the Rumble three times.

“I’m going to do my best to hang on for dear life and win the Royal Rumble in my hometown. That would be the third time that I won the event. Which would put me and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as the only two WWE performers to ever win that event three times,” added Orton.

Alpha Academy recently won the RAW Tag Team Championship from Randy Orton.
On January 10, 2022, on the broadcast of RAW, Randy Orton and Riddle lost their tag team titles to Chad Gable and Otis.

After Alpha Academy’s victory, RK-142-day Bro’s championship run came to an end.
At SummerSlam 2021, Randy Orton and Riddle won the championships after defeating Omos and AJ Styles in the first round.

In WWE, the two have been extremely successful and entertaining together.
Since Orton and Riddle dropped the gold, a rematch between RK-Bro and Alpha Academy has been hyped.

The Viper is still not officially scheduled for Royal Rumble since WWE hasn’t finalized a RAW Tag Team Championship match for the event. As a result, Orton might be a surprise entry in the Rumble fight.
