Life Between wickets

India’s most promising ODI XI

5 min read

10. Zaheer Khan in the action.

With 282 wickets in his 200 matches at an average of 29.44 and an economy of 4.93, Zaheer Khan has always been pumped up on fels while playing for his country.

He was one of India’s trump cards during the 2011 World Cup and ended up taking the highest number of wickets – 21 scalps. Although this fast bowler’s credit is still due, his contribution donning the blue jersey is undoubted.

10 down and one last talent to go.
