A successful skipper who excelled his captaincy in all three formats is MS Dhoni. This Indian cricketer changed the phase of the Indian cricket team by rendering numerous opportunities to budding youngsters. As their leader, he stood by them during hardships and backed them during tough times.

During the ICC events years back, team India came out in flying colors under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. It was an honor for the men in blue to win ICC T20 World cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

This intelligent treasure bid farewell to International cricket on 15th August 2020. However, it’s a relief to the Indian fans as he is still playing for franchise cricket. He is the pillar of strength for the Chennai Super Kings team in IPL.

In the 2021 IPL points table, the CSK team are currently in the second position. Their net run rate is far better than the other teams in the IPL. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the venue has been shifted to UAE.

The second phase of IPL 2021 has been scheduled from September 19th and the finals will happen on October 15th. The CSK army will be looking forward to winning the trophy this year.

In the meantime, shocking news spread like wildfire since Mahi lost his blue tick in his official twitter account. Since he wasn’t quite active on Twitter for the past couple of months, they had removed the blue status.

Dhoni Posted his Last Tweet in January

The last tweet posted by the skipper was on January 8th, 2021. In fact, he preferred to share the news about his retirement on Insta and not on Twitter. He was one among many Indian players who fell prey to online abusers.

Due to such ill-mannered actions, the veteran chose to distance himself from Twitter. Well, that’s the main reason he prefers Instagram more than Twitter. Looking at the latest events, Twitter has restored the verification certificate back.

As the news became viral in no time, Twitter was swift to return it back. Probably, this is the main reason his official account lost the verification mark.
