1 min read

Lita, whose actual name is Amy Christine Dumas, is an American professional wrestler. From the year 2000 to 2006, she was a full-time wrestler with WWE and she was also regarded as one of the popular female superstars.

In 2007, she appeared as a special guest referee in the match between April Hunter and Christy Hemme and with this made her debut for Union Wrestling Foundation.

The next day, she teamed up with Jerry Lynn to make her in-ring debut where the duo defeated Christy Hemme and Austin Starr. Being one of the greatest female performers, on February 10, 2014, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

She was inducted by her best friend and fellow female wrestler, Trish Stratus. In 2021, Lita also disclosed details about the incident with Edge where she was threatened to be fired by the WWE if she hesitated to do the segment.

Lita’s return and Dutch Mantell’s idea:

Lita is set to compete in the Woman’s Royal Rumble match on January 29. The wrestling veteran, Dutch Mantell, reviewed Lita’s comeback alongside Sid Pullar III on this week’s episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk.

She said that the setup job with Charlotte Flair was good and a WrestleMania match could also be set up.

“Well, they set it up. It was set up well. And I think if they follow through on it, it wouldn’t be a bad idea. Now you bring in the new and the old together. And it gives Charlotte somewhere to go. Now she can retire a Hall of Famer,” Speaking of Lita’s show against Charlotte, though Charlotte was very good, the Hall of Famer outperformed her at the end of the segment
