4. Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab (2019)
In the 13th match of the 2019 season, when Ravichandran Ashwin was leading the KXIP team, DC locked horns with Punjab. DC’s skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first. Punjab lost their top 3 batsmen after 7.1 overs, but Sarfaraz Khan and David Miller were still holding the torch of confidence very high. After 13.4 overs, KXIP were 120 for the loss of 3 wickets.
Nevertheless, they fizzled out after that and were able to gather only 166 runs at the end. Then came Delhi who lost Prithvi Shaw for a golden duck. The other top 5 batsmen of DC scored 28 runs or more each and so after 16.3 overs, they were at 144/3. Pant’s wicket was taken in the very next ball which was followed by the epic collapse of all time. Even before the 20 overs were completed, the team got all out for 152 runs.
